We were really happy to meet Leon Keer who is another artist we’ve been communicating with over time. We are happy to have had the artist at the Malta Street Art Festival this year. The 3D anamorphic artists really bring something fresh to the table. Whether utilised by street artists or graffiti artists such as Odeith the format is moving forward in leaps and bounds. Dutch artist Leon treated locals to 3D gummy bears which could only be seen from the streets high above the waterfront.
When painting the pavement Leon attracts some odd looks by most people that walk past the man at work. It’s hard to know what the artist is painting unless your seeing the artwork from the correct angle. Where some may see large blobs of paint others will see 3D gummy bears walking and playing in the street. Thus presenting a great photo opportunity for onlookers from the streets above the coastline. Leon like all the artists at this years festival was a delight to work with and we look forward to working with the artist again in the future.
