Neon String Art by Spidertag in Barcelona
When Spidertag discovered the material he currently uses for his street art earlier this year, it presented a eureka moment for the Spanish artist. Spidertag had been using a variety of string or wire in the past, which maximised daylight viewing but limited what could be seen at night. The artist’s discovery completely changed the game for Spidertag. He had to rewire his head to compute for the shift in direction. The installations are now bigger and brighter both day and night. The artist couldn’t be happier and who can blame him, more people are paying attention than ever before. This is his biggest work to date, measuring 20x3m with 50 metres of neon lights.
